Zero Sugar, Zero Compromise: FLW's Approach to Sweetening

Claiming a product is sugar-free is easy to write on a can, but doing it well — with no metallic aftertaste or artificial sweetness — is much harder.

Why sucralose specifically?

We chose sucralose specifically because it holds up against bright, real fruit flavor without leaving a metallic aftertaste, which is a common issue with some other sweeteners. FLW is sweetened entirely with sucralose — zero grams of sugar, zero calories from the sweetener.

Calibrating each flavor individually

Instead of one generic sweetening formula applied across the board, we calibrated the sweetness level for each of the three flavors — Passion Mist, Colada Crunch, and Citrus Breeze — separately, to suit the character of its fruit.

The number on the label

Each of the three flavors contains 0 grams of sugar and 0 grams of carbohydrates per can (330ml) — the exact same number, no exceptions and no hidden "natural sugars."
